Wow. I don;t think it could get more complicated. My partner and I have three children and it’s difficult enough for us to be consistent. i can’t imagine putting two more people in the mix. However, if your parenting styles are similar and you have REALLLLY good communication between all of you, it might work out just fine. 4 parents instead of 2. “It takes a village…” The one thing I would make sure you do is to make it all legal. Please don’t go into this with the view that everything will be fantastic. I truly hope it will be, but please protect yourselves and the children. Make sure that the kids are able to maintain relationships with everyone in their lives and that everyone in their lives is financially responsible for their well being.

Congrats on your Engagement! I would highly suggest working with a Destination Wedding Specialist. They can help you through the whole process, including helping your wedding guests. Of course if your guests already have a favorite agent, book online, etc that’s ok of course as well. However when done separately just know then your guests aren’t able to be cross referenced with who is traveling with you. A destination wedding specialist can set up the date/time for the wedding, add extras options, arrange special private dinners maybe, etc. Also they can ask you a series of questions to help determine if you like of course if they feel this is the best choice for your Wedding. Hey after all it’s a one time deal! Best of luck to you, Jan. is a great time to go! I would start checking now for the best availability and rates. I know RIU has some specials running that would be best if you were able to get things locked in so you can take advantage of these rates!

Play TV will not be out in the USA anytime soon, but will be in the future. here’s what phil harrison said about play TV coming to the USA according to an interview with kotaku “Phil Harrison popped by my chair after the press conference to chat for a second about how it went and I had a second to ask him about how this news might impact the U.S. Specifically I wanted to know if North America had a chance of getting the DVR service for the Playstation 3 or a video download service for the PSP. The short answer, unfortunately, is no, well at least not yet. The problem with the DVR is that the U.S. doesn’t have terrestrial digital television yet, so while some cities like San DIego have it not nearly support in the U.S. to make it worth the effort for Sony. When that changes, and it will, Sony will be on the ball, Harrison said. Unfortunately, things look much bleaker for the Sky service being rolled out in Europe. There is nothing really nationwide in the U.S. that delivers video content over the air by subscription. So, until that happens we won’t be seeing that in the U.S. Ps. Harrison is almost exactly one foot taller than me.”- http://kotaku.com/gaming/gc07/harrison-sheds-light-on-us-plans-ps3-dvr-and-psp-tv-292330.php

Funny… Anyone worth their salt WON’T want to play the Ducks in the playoffs this year… that’s NOT underestimating them. That’s respecting them. All that hate thrown Anaheims way isn’t because they’re lucky - it’s because they’re good. If you’re a Ducks fan you should be embracing it. Nobody HATES the Kings… they laugh at them… Would you rather be L.A.? As far as those who think the Ducks are a one trick pony… look again. They’ve won more playoff series than any other team over the last four seasons… and they’re certainly in the thick of things in the Pacific division. A bunch of goons? Maybe… for sure they’re a physical team that’s not afraid to take penalties. No skill? Give me a break… Niedermayer, Schnieder, Getzlaf, Perry, Giguere, etc. are all highly skilled players. How will they do? Well they may not win the cup… but so long as San Jose continues to show it can’t beat Detroit or Anaheim, they’re still one of the two teams to beat in the West.

Actually, bulging eyes can be a sign of dropsy so it may not have been popeye at all. Dropsy is very taxing on the fish’s immune system, so is it possible the fish could have developed popeye as a secondary infection? It might have. It is hard to say for sure without a picture. Dropsy is a much bigger beast then popeye and the most likely the cause of your fish’s death. Dropsy itself is not a disease, but a sympton of disease. Basically, in simplest terms, dropsy is like kidney failure in a fish. The fish loses the ability to filter salt, etc. out of the water and extreme swelling of the tissues occurs, often causing the fish to “pinecone” (scales sticking out, as you saw in the instance with your goldfish). Dropsy is nearly impossible to cure and almost always fatal… you have to catch it extremely early and medicate the fish aggressively for the fish to stand any kind of chance. Even if caught early, though, and even with your best efforts, they often do not pull through.
I am sorry about the loss of your fish. Though in my experience dropsy is not contagious, I would not take any chances. I would thoroughly scald the tank and any decorations just in case. Good luck, and again I am sorry about your fish.

Carpe Diem! Seize the Moment! First of all, ladies love the whole formal thing (most..) so what is the worst that could happen, maybe she could say no ..so you lick your wounds and have a beer, maybe she will say yes, and you’ll have a terrible time…okay, that will be a good story for the future, but on the other hand, she might say yes and you will have a great time… My suggestion too would be the sooner the better, girls need that dress, shoe etc coordination time… Even if you do it before the Friday lunch..you could make it seem casual and say something to the effect (when you call her or see her), hey, I had thought, my frat is having this winter formal in a couple weeks, I know its shot notice, but I don’t suppose you would be interested in going with me… I would be curious how this workd out.. good luck and enjoy all this fun and anticipation, that’s what makes life fun…

I agree with you. This sounds really, really stereotypical, especially in this forum, but it is partially an objectification–media assume audiences are more interested in looking at naked women and naked women are what they promote. But you made a balanced statement about it being unfair to both sexes. Mass media presents breasts and vulvas and tells us to admire or want this (or whatever) while penises are somehow something dirty. I’ve known several people to talk about how “ugly” male bodies are, and sometimes they cite how “hairy” they are. Well, males are hairier than females, but the only reason women’s bodies are hairless is because they’re shaved! That’s another point, actually. Women’s bodies aren’t presented as they naturally are, but in this idealized, highly stylized form that we’re taught to ingest as normal or better. Biologically speaking, there’s no reason why hair on a woman’s legs should look disgusting anymore than hair on her head. I think in general sexual roles are presented in a very unhealthy fashion.

The occurrence and severity of adverse reactions are generally directly related to serum lithium concentrations as well as to individual patient sensitivity to lithium, and generally occur more frequently and with greater severity at higher concentrations. Adverse reactions may be encountered at serum lithium levels below 1.5 mEq/L. Mild to moderate adverse reactions may occur at levels from 1.5 to 2.5 mEq/L, and moderate to severe reactions may be seen at levels of 2.0 mEq/L and above. Fine hand tremor, polyuria, and mild thirst may occur during initial therapy for the acute manic phase, and may persist throughout treatment. Transient and mild nausea and general discomfort may also appear during the first few days of lithium administration. These side effects usually subside with continued treatment or a temporary reduction or cessation of dosage. If persistent, cessation of lithium therapy may be required. Diarrhea, vomiting, drowsiness, muscular weakness, and lack of coordination may be early signs of lithium intoxication, and can occur at lithium levels below 2.0 mEq/L. At higher levels, ataxia, giddiness, tinnitus, blurred vision, and a large output of dilute urine may be seen. Serum lithium levels above 3.0 mEq/L may produce a complex clinical picture, involving multiple organs and organ systems. Serum lithium levels should not be permitted to exceed 2.0 mEq/L during the acute treatment phase.
